Intern Sustainability wanted at Unilever in Rotterdam

What are you going to do:

In this internship you will work for I´AM WALLS. The I am Wall’s Sustainable Employment Programme is a global initiative from Unilever’s ice cream brand to help tackle the shadows of unemployment among socially excluded population and youth.

This sustainable business model provides vendors with ongoing employment as well as skills and training to help them become more self-sufficient, in particular through the opportunity to become successful micro-entrepreneurs by creating their own mobile vending ice cream business.

Currently, Wall’s supports 27,000 mobile vendors worldwide. But it has a bigger ambition to spread more joy and happiness by providing 100,000 vendors with a brighter future by 2020.

You will work closely with the European and Global I´AM WALLS teams as well as having interactions with important external/internal parties. 

Responsibilities:

• Unlock the sustainability flagship of Unilever;
• You will perform a European scan and make connections with partners leading to an European Partnership with I´AM WALLS;
• You will make and prioritize a concrete list of potential partners based on advantages and disadventages;
• You will have a key stake in closing deals with partners.
