Holland FinTech is founded in 2014 in Amsterdam. We provide services for our members, ranging from large corporates such as banks and insurance companies to small companies like investors and startups, all with an interest in Fintech and financial innovation. FinTech is all about increased used of technology in the full width of financial services, with examples like crowdfunding, Bitcoin, mobile payments and big data. Holland FinTech helps connecting our members learn about business opportunities, connect and deliver innovative solutions worldwide. Furthermore, we spread the news about FinTech developments and our members to our worldwide network. Recently we've started an intense collaboration between the fintech and the supply chain ecosystem.

We believe that it's time for a change in the financial services industry and that technology can support that change with great solutions and cooperation opportunities. Not only do fintech solutions empower people to take better control over their finances, but they also create new jobs and help grow our economy. We seek to strengthen our team with a marketing data intern that is technology savvy and has a special interest in financial innovation and in logistics/supply chain.

Profile

We are looking for someone with a University (of Applied Science) background, who is internationally oriented and who is fluent in English and Dutch. Speaking and writing in other languages is a pro.

• You have affinity with Finance and start-ups;
• You have an internal drive to learn about new developments, marketing methods and tools
• You work independently with a clear focus on company goals;
• You structured and organised in your work;
• You have excellent (written and verbal) communication skills;
• You have an eye for communication detail and are able to deal with many sources of information;
• You like to work in a small dynamic team, with high individual responsibilities.

We offer this dynamic position in an ambitious team, where you get plenty of space to explore and develop yourself in a great start-up environment. You have the opportunity to be in touch with our large international network of banks, investors, corporates and start-ups.

The position is for a minimum of 4 months and a maximum of 12 months, for 4 or 5 days per week. The internship compensation is according to the market standard. Travel costs are covered. Start date: as soon as possible, deadline application: February 12th 2017.

Responsibilities

As a marketing data intern you'll be responsible for managing data streams throughout our fintech ecosystem:

• Help to develop our infrastructure so we gain insights into our client behaviour and their needs
• Actively manage deal flows and CRM data
• Manage content of our network members like preferences and specs
• Connect with international databases and help to find collaboration with network partners
• Optimise current processes and align with cash management tooling
• Develop monitoring on information streams
• Help with implementing interactive big data feed system(s)
