The Dataset Engineer is responsible for compiling, validating, and releasing datasets for engine management and after-treatment management systems within the DSM Team. These datasets consist of software, calibration data, and description files. You will work under the supervision of the Release Officer. The Dataset Engineer compiles datasets based on calibration input from internal and external stakeholders. These datasets are intended for testing, development, production, and service purposes. The content of datasets is aligned through calibration reviews organized and led by the Dataset Engineer. After creating the datasets, the Dataset Engineer validates them through testing. Finally, the Dataset Engineer releases the datasets and provides the associated documentation. Since you will be working on multiple projects and software versions simultaneously, this role requires precision, attentiveness, and overview. Although the role focuses on processing, compiling, and testing data, technical insight and affinity with engines and calibration are advantageous.
