    • Master degree in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
    • 5 years of experience in engine and aftertreatment OBD development.
    • Experience on supporting development engineers and leading small technical teams Six Sigma, Green or Black belt, i.e.
    • FMEA experience, Statistics, DMAIC, fishbone and boundary diagram Strong data analytics background Good English skills are mandatory.
    • This person has the following competences Initiative, to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and improve our engine and after treatment OBD.
    • Cooperation, for bringing engineers from different disciplines together.
    • Result orientation, find simple solutions and deliver on time Analytical capacity, to combine information from different sources.
    • Clear communication, verbally, in writing, and while presenting on (Project) Management level Perseverance, to find solutions for issues where others did not succeed.

Within the engine development department, the system definition group is responsible for defining new engines and aftertreatment systems including emissions, OBD and diagnostics. To support the growth in projects and technology development, we are looking for a well-qualified Lead Engineer - Engine OBD Robustness.
