As a Factory Engineer, you will be part of a team that forms the technical foundation of the production process for each product. Our client is experiencing significant growth, and as a Factory Engineer, you are an essential link to achieving this growth. Due to a new project, we are looking to expand our team. The Factory Engineer is responsible for the quality of the assembly process, ensuring that the design team delivers a product that can be assembled correctly and consistently.
Tasks
- Establishing and configuring the assembly process flow, including the necessary measurement and validation steps
- Specifying the required assembly tools
- Creating work instructions and measurement guidelines as needed for assembly
- Serving as the primary point of contact in case of quality issues during assembly
- Acting as a product owner in the manufacturing process
Your requirements
- Completed practical Mechatronics HBO/Bachelor education
- Preferably at least 2 years of work experience in a dynamic technical production environment
- You are a determined individual who thinks in solutions and possesses a healthy dose of assertiveness
- "Design for Assembly" at an early stage
- Ability to work with developers to optimize the manufacturability of the design
- Assessing the manufacturability of the technical product documentation (tpd)
- Capability to address and resolve quality issues quickly and systematically (knowledge of 8D processes is desired)
- Optimizing assembly and validation processes through various product phases (prototype, pilot, series)
- Developing assembly processes suitable for medium-sized production runs (up to 1 system per month)
- Experience in establishing processes for high cleanliness requirements within cleanrooms
- Ideally, you have both mechanical and electrical knowledge
