Characteristics of the job
Our receptionists or Community Associates are the face of Regus, Spaces, The Office Operators & Signature. You are the first point of contact for all tenants and visitors of our centers or at one of the large international companies with which IWG works.
As a Community Associate you are responsible for an unforgettable first impression and you like to go that extra mile for the tenants. Do you walk 24/7 with a smile on your face, are you social and is customer service your second nature? Do you want to work in a team of great colleagues and are you looking for a super varied job for 40 hours a week? Then we are looking for you! What does a typical day at IWG look like?
From the moment you enter and stand behind the reception, you greet all incoming visitors with a big smile to start their (working) day with extra shine! After you have greeted everyone you are ready to continue with your day.
You answer all emails that come in and ensure that the work in the building / business center runs smoothly. Jeez, that lady who comes in has an appointment and is all rained out. You approach her and say that we still have a hair dryer behind the reception so that she can dress up.
Before you go for lunch, you walk past all the tenants to deliver the incoming mail to them and you immediately take the steamed suit of a tenant with you - the day flies by!
At the end of the afternoon, the first tenants leave for home. You wish everyone a nice evening and when this morning's guests tell you that they have to get to Schiphol quickly, you already arrange a taxi and tell them where and at what time they will be picked up. After you have processed all emails for the next day and checked the activities for tomorrow, the day is over and you go home. On the way back you make one of your tenants happy to post some letters he forgot! Yes, on to tomorrow!
