Let us tell you what a typical day looks like as an orderpicker at Albert Heijn Online:

When you arrive at work, you are welcomed by your colleagues, and you begin your day by grabbing a cup of coffee to kick start your shift. You make your way to the office to address a few questions you still had before heading to the locker room to secure your belongings.

Next, you go to meet with your teamleader to discuss the day's tasks, which may involve picking fresh items or replenishing the shelves. Equipped with your scanner, you start on your journey, navigating through the aisles to locate and scan the products the customer has ordered. 

When you have completed your initial round of picking and conducting quality checks, you leave the items for your delivery colleagues to take over and proceed to your next round. In the middle of your shift, you take a well-deserved break, and during the afternoon shift, you have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary dinner alongside your colleagues.

As the day unfolds, you continue to gather items and pack them for customer delivery. Once all orders are carefully packaged, you join forces with your colleagues to tidy up the workspace, ensuring it is ready for the next shift.  

At the end of a busy but satisfying shift, you head home feeling content knowing you played an important role in ensuring customers receive their orders.

• You are able to work in a fast-paced environment
• You have a strong attention to detail
• You have no problem with physically work
• You are available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• You can work in a cooled environment (2-4 degrees)
• You are looking for a Fulltime or Parttime job for at least 24 hours per week

• Salary €13.40 (incl. ADV)
• After 13 weeks, we will increase the salary to: €14.36 (incl ADV)
• A job where you can start immediately for a longer period.
• Allowances in the evening after 22:00 and when you work on Sundays of 150%
• Holiday payment of 8,33%

• Travel allowance up till 17,92 per day
