Hajimemashite! We are currently searching for an HR Assistant to join a unique Japanese company which offers supply chain services throughout Europe and is based near Amsterdam Airport. Are you familiar with HR and have a special interest in Japanese culture? Maybe you've even worked in a Japanese or multicultural environment before. Then this might be a good opportunity for you! 

This role mainly focuses on supporting Human Resource Management with tasks, such as creating and helping compile data; writing summaries, minutes and reports; monitoring employee development and growth; and evaluating performance. 

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Daily Tasks:
  
  • Updating employee information;
  • Support in creating documents and files related to HR management, such as manpower reports;
  • Support with HR projects, for example around employee development;
  • Sending HR-related emails and memos;
  • Support with preparing job interviews, such as compiling CVs.
• Monthly Tasks:
  
  • Preparation of monthly meetings and creating the minutes;
  • Collection of employee information from branch directories and compilation of reports;
  • Supporting the HR Manager with data submission requests from the Japanese headquarters.
• Quarterly Task:
  
  • Collection and summary of employee evaluation sheets.

Requirements:

You are self-driven with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. Our client is seeking a Junior who is eager to learn and grow within the company. You will gradually gain more responsibilities and opportunities the more you show proactive independence.  

• At least 1 year of work experience in HR, preferably in a similar industry;
• You are proficient in the use of Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English;
• Any level of Japanese.
