As a Business Developer FX & Commodities, you focus on improving the performance of the Global Markets Foreign eXchange (FX) propositions, processes and systems.
You do this by translating product and process improvements into value propositions and end-to-end solutions that are consistent with developments in the areas of technology, digitalisation, legislation, and regulation.
You take into account the requirements and frameworks set by internal and external stakeholders, such as development teams and regulators.
You are able to promote change through the solutions you propose. You clarify how effective improvements in performance, quality, and efficiency can be achieved.
You provide advice to relevant internal and external stakeholders, create support for implementing change and run activities.
You work for the FX & Commodities Value Chain, which is part of the Global Markets Grid (“Grid Financial Markets”).
The Global Markets Grid in itself belongs to Strategy & Business Development Global Markets and consists of four value chain teams. Three of which are responsible for a value chain (i.e. FX & Commodities, Credits & Rates and Securities Finance, Equities & Treasury) and one value chain that is supportive of the other three chains (the Cross Product value chain).
The FX & Commodities value chain team is responsible for the implementation of the strategy for FX and Commodities products. The team is end-to-end responsible for the full value chain and therefore design, develop, choose, implement and maintain processes, organisation and technology themselves. The team consists of 1 Lead Product Owner and a team of 4 Business Developers. You report to the Lead Product Owner of the FX & Commodities Value chain team.
You are driven to keep on exceeding the expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
You are able to view the Global Markets’ processes through the eyes of those stakeholders and clients, and draw on this perspective when working on improvements to the products, processes, and systems for which you are responsible.
You are interested in our stakeholders’ world and use your knowledge, experience, and propose improvements with your team.
You provide advice to stakeholders and win their support for your insights and proposals and also aim to make the processes more effective, efficient, and cost-effective.
