What do we need:
We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven sales intern to join our excellent team. The sales intern will complete all tasks assigned by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, managing email campaigns, generating sales leads, making cold calls, and participating in meetings. You should be able to take instruction, but also work unsupervised when required.

To be successful as a sales intern, you should be willing to learn as much about the company as possible and be able to spot opportunities that have been overlooked by others. In our view outstanding sales interns are problem solvers who know how to create a sales funnel, creating leads and also know the value of building lasting, professional relationships with clients.

Spectrum Intelligence needs your enthusiasm and skills in order to move to the next stage of making a social impact with social entrepreneurship and technology. The ideal intern will be a great fit for our energetic and creative team. You will gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team.

  • Ability to suggest improvements on Sales Planning strategy and propose actions in a short and long time period  
  • Capture information from different channels and generate lists of potential customers (leads) based on expected customer profile
  • Actively engage in creating a meaningful pipe of sales leads
  • Suggest and apply (existing or new) sales techniques
  • Keep an eye on the timely completion of all the required paperwork, and enhance the business's operational smoothness
  • Assist in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities
  • Assist to find fundraising channels and leverage on them
  • Work towards maintaining a positive relationship with all our esteemed customers.
  • Help develop client relationships
  • Provide input on customer briefs, presentations

     

    Who are you?

    • You have a degree (or about to graduate) in Marketing, Sales Management, Business or similar 
    • Have the ability to take direction but can confidently work autonomously
    • Have strong ability to multi-task and adapt easily in new environments and situations
    • Previous experience in the sales domain is an advantage
    • Mastering Dutch and English languages
