Wat ga je doen?

As a full-time planner in Venlo, you are responsible for the distribution of fruits to customers. Your new employer is a leading food distributor, importing all sorts of fruits from growers in Chili, Peru, Argentina, Morocco and Spain before exporting them to various supermarket chains in Europe.

Your job is to distribute the fruits in such a way that customers receive the right products according to their wishes and not one berry is wasted. While keeping an eye on the quality and signaling potential problems and new opportunities.

What does that look like exactly?

Together with the product manager, you will focus on the daily production planning. You are also the primary point of contact for sales offices in Spain, Germany and the Benelux. To discuss past and current orders, solve problems and take a closer look at what is to come. Finally, you also coordinate everything surrounding new clients and packages.

You have no problem creating spreadsheets or working with ERP systems to help you with your planning.

Working days

You work from Monday to Friday. How early you start each day is up to you. It might be 7am one day and 10am the following day. You do need to discuss this beforehand with your manager. During busy periods the work continues on Saturdays. That’s why it’s important for you to be flexible as well.
