Fulltime junior accountant wanted for Adidas in Amsterdam

What are you going to do:

As a fulltime junior accountant you will have two main administrative tasks. First, you'll be pre approving invoices that have been sent to Adidas Digital Creative Services, raising up to 100 or 200 purchasing orders per week. Secondly, you'll be checking the financial reports for expenses and budgets for the different creative projects. You'll make sure all the receipts are in order and that the financial team performs their payments on time. This means you will also be handling stakeholder management: checking in the chain where (missing) orders are to make sure every involved party knows what to expect.

Thus we're looking for a candidate who's a highly organized multi-tasker, but also someone with good people skills. 

Practical information

The work days as a fulltime junior accountant will be Monday till Friday, 09.00 to 17.30. This is a temporary function, starting medio January for 4-5 months. You will work in a small team of 5 colleagues, who are part of a bigger team (about 100 colleagues). The office is located in the centre of Amsterdam and easily reachable by public transport.

What we ask:

  • Minimum hbo level or equivalent ability
  • You have worked as an accountant or junior in financial reporting for at least one year (ideally in a big corporation);
  • You're assertive, have good people skills and are able to manage multiple tasks at the same time;
  • Your English is fluent.
