Do you like to tackle complex problems and do you have a background in the Information Security area, then this is the internship you are looking for!
Aegon is looking for an intern that wants to solve intricate issues in a dynamic working environment. As an intern you will be working in the ‘Information Security Office’ within the ‘Corporate Systems IT Office’ on projects and business as usual activities. You will work closely with the team on the ongoing activities, but there is also room for a thesis. There is a wide variety of topics such as risk management, business continuity, security awareness, Privacy and Law etc. Depending on your profile.
The Team
The Information Security team is responsible for executing the activities from the Security plan. These activities range from internal projects to improve security processes to operational tasks such as assessing vendors or providing advice on specific security topics. The team exists of multiple people who each have their own focus areas, working together to ensure that with the level of information security within Aegon’s Corporate Center (holding company) is and stays up to par.
Requirements
Your profile
- Bachelor degree, 3rd / 4th year student;
- Affinity with information security;
- Strong communication skills, being able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
- Not afraid to work on the unknowns and eager to learn;
- Comfortable with working in an international environment;
- You speak fluent English;
- Available for 3-6 months (a longer term or other rotation within Aegon are possible)
Important note:
It is required to be enrolled at a university to take part in this internship. Next to that you will need a Dutch BSN-number and Dutch bank account. If you are a non EU/EER student, you will need a valid residence permit stating that you may work ('arbeid vrij toegestaan'). Applications that do not fulfill this criteria cannot be taken into consideration.
Please note that the interviews will be held in English.
