Process Automation Internship - Amsterdam

 Are you at least a 4^th year BSc (HBO) student? Do you study Information Science or a related subject? If yes, this vacancy might be of your interest! We would like you to help us to create a fully automated process to give advices to our customers!

 On a yearly base approximately 60.000 advices are produced/delivered to our mortgage customers for new mortgages, but also for the alteration of their current one. This is a time consuming, manual  and critical process, moreover, heavily regulated. The goal is to fully automate this process for any type of mortgage request, current and future client demands and situation. This automatized advice should result in a continuous process triggered by life events, instead of an one-time event. Nowadays robotic advice is mainly being used within wealth management, but not within retail banking. First, we would like to know what a customer expects from a robotic advice regarding mortgages; what kind of clients prefer a robotic advice? What do they expect from a robotic advice? What’s the accepted price level for a robotic advice (or should it even be for free?) Does the customer wants to have a human interface as well? Do clients want to share information of transaction data as a source for a robotic advice? Etc. In addition to the client survey we would like to receive an advice for a MVP. Secondly, a market research should be executed. We would like to know; which companies (worldwide) can be identified that can contribute to a robotic advice customer journey for ABN AMRO? Which Dutch competitors are using robotic advice within their customer journeys? And lastly, how does this affect current business models?

 The Grid Wonen (Living) is, together with both Business as well as IT, responsible for carefree living. Their main focus is selling mortgages. From an innovation perspective we are looking into new business models within the living environment of our customers.

• You are at least a 4^th year BSc (HBO) student.
• Your study covers Information Science, Customer Experience and/or validation.
• You have some understanding of mortgages or at least the housing market.
• Hands on: you make things happen and can get quickly to the core of an issue.
• Independent: you are disciplined enough to work without supervision and succeed.
• Coop-player: because we share everything; responsibilities, laughs, coffee, ups and downs, and of course success!
• Proactive: there’s a lot to do, most of it we haven’t even thought about it yet!
• Precise: we work not to fail but to make the errors something uncommon in our day by day, and above all, to learn from them.

• Dutch speaker: a native/excellent level in the language (spoken and written) is crucial!
