As parttime customer service representative, you are the voice on the other end of the line for Rituals customers. If they have any questions about products, online purchases, payments or return shipments, you’re the one they turn to. By calling or sending you an e-mail or social media message.
What does my workday look like exactly?
It’s 10am and the phone rings. Mrs. Smith is calling to ask about one of her online purchases. She accidentally bought the wrong body cream, but she has no idea how to return it. You explain it to her step by step and even help her to purchase the right body cream in the process.
When you hang up, you notice that you have an e-mail from Mr. Rogers. He has been trying to make a purchase on the Rituals site and wants to use a gift card. However, for some reason, the site keeps erroring. You immediately start looking into it and weigh all of your options. You check the balance on the card and ask the IT department if they have noticed any glitches in the system. After that, you write back to Mr. Rogers and offer him a solution to his problem.
Simply put: you do everything in your power to satisfy the customers. How? By listening intently and asking the right questions to get to the bottom of the problem. All the while you remain calm and friendly. And you always put the customer first.
Working hours
As parttime customer service representative, your working hours will be flexible. You can choose yourself whether you want to work between 20 and 26 hours per week, or 30 and 36 hours. The Rituals office is open from Monday to Friday from 9am until 8pm, and on Saturdays from 10am until 6pm.
