What does a Warehouse employee do?
As a Warehouse employee at Hanos in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht, you are responsible for the carts of the truck drivers. You have to make those carts ready, and you have to put them in the right order in the docking station. We also call this a dock employee. The order pickers will make the orders ready for you, and you have to bring products with a EPT (electric pallet truck) to the docking station for the truck drivers. As a dock employee you make sure your environment is clean.
Workdays and times
The workdays are from Monday until Sunday. Your day will start 06.00 or 07.00 o'clock and end around 15.00 or 16.00 o'clock. It's not possible to start later than 07.00 o'clock. Do you like to work in the morning and be ready early, then this might be the perfect job for you.
Who are you?
You don't mind to work early in the morning, you live in the neighborhood from Hanos and if possible you have got your own vehicle to come to work. If you travel by public transport, we want to ask you if you can check the schedule before you apply. Because you have to start early, unfortunately most of the trains/busses/trams will not go. You don't mind carrying heavy products, and you are physically okay! The environment, where you will be the most of the time, will be a bit colder. Please be aware of that. You have to be 20 years or older.
When you are done with your own work, and you still have to work a few hours. Hanos expect you to help your colleges with for example order picking, cleaning your work space and that kind of extra's. You will never get bored!
What will you earn?
At the age of 20 the salary will be € 10,74 gross an hour. At the age of 21 or older the salary will be € 11,58 gross an hour.
If you work on Sunday you will receive a surcharge of 100%. In addition, there is a maximum travel allowance of € 11,40 a day.
