To sell (more) spare parts we have created and maintain a web shop for our dealers and customers. A powerful data analysis tool is available for this web shop, but we are not using it yet to its full advantage. Therefore, we would like to ask you to develop a plan of action to improve the customer journey on our web shop using this powerful data analysis tool.

Here, we expect:

  1. An understanding of the current situation; both the stakeholder environment as well as the current data model.
  2. An analysis of the desired customer journey for truck spare parts based on analysis of our current data and interviews with our dealers, customers and perhaps other stakeholders. But we are also looking for input from best practices in the field and the theories on “Customer Journey”, “Product Findability”, “eCommerce models”, etc.
  3. A plan of action to improve the customer journey using data-driven analysis. More specifically this could entail the (initial) development of useful dashboards, but also recommendations about possible gaps in our current data model.

Jouw profiel

A Master student in the area of Business, Marketing, Innovation or Technology with an interest in Business Information Systems and data analysis.


PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) is a PACCAR division with a dynamic and challenging environment. PPE is responsible for the sales of spare parts to over 1,000 DAF dealers, TRP stores and customers around the world. To satisfy our customers’ ‘one stop shop’ requirement, PACCAR Parts sells DAF and PACCAR branded parts for DAF truck applications and TRP branded parts for other manufacturers of trucks and trailers.

Within PPE, the Marketing Services department is responsible for the development, execution and implementation of marketing and communication programs, eCommerce and tools for and to Sales Units, dealers and customers. The eCommerce and Dealer Sales Support Tools team within Marketing Services focuses on growing our customer eCommerce business and supports the sales force of our dealers with multiple tools and systems. Marketing Services is a team of motivated professionals with the goal to grow sales profits and improve customer satisfaction.
