Intern Wholesale Operations in Amsterdam

Job Description

For this position, the Wholesale Intern provides support in the day to day wholesale activities within the department ranging from data analyses/reporting, supporting on key account management and managing product flows, being in direct contact with internal as well with external linkages of the Karl Lagerfeld brand and ensuring to maintain the retail approach within the wholesale business unit.

Key Accountabilities

Daily contacts with the operations teams to:  

                   o    Track the products flow

                  o    Secure the right product launches on the floors  

                   o    organize swaps, reorders and returns 

• Daily liaising with the clients
• Collect and analyse the sellout & sellin
• Proactively identify SWAPs and reorders needs
• Responsible for delivering constant support into the development of the wholesale business
• Back Office management into qualitative and quantitative task (Sell Thru, Buying illustration) 
• Working closely together with the wholesale team on projects from concept to production.
• Showroom: during the buying campaign (2/3 weeks in January / June), help on the showroom organisation and enter the orders, with a qualitative and a quantitative approach
• Assist in the preparation of the store’s IT tools with Excel
• Prepare presentations for different purposes to be shared within the company or with external parties

Requirements

•  You are educated to Master level or higher and may also be required to hold any qualifications relating to Sales or Marketing
• Language: you are fluent in English, both verbal and written; French is a plus
• You have excellent skills with Microsoft office: Outlook, Excel, PPT
• You are strong in building and maintaining relationships and you admire to work with different departments and international people
• You are proactive and think ahead, bring structure in your work and are independent
• You communicate openly, honestly and constructively
• You have a strong interest in Wholesale and fashion
• You possess excellent customer service skills.
