Are you passionate about video games? Interested in turning them into a career? At Iceberg Interactive we publish independent video games from all over the world. That means we find them, fund them, manage them, test them, localise them, market them, hype them, share them, distribute them, sell them – and sometimes, we even play them! It’s a lot of work, that’s why we’re looking for a new intern to help us on our Community Management team.
As a Community Representative, you will be responsible for the day-to-day interaction with the fan base for several Iceberg Interactive games while creating engaging content for our channels. You'll also work with the wider Marketing team to discuss and plan campaigns, and suggest other ways to gather publicity for our games. The role is perfect for a passionate gamer who is comfortable with online communities and social media.
Beyond Community Management you will get to spend time testing new games and helping to assess potential new projects with our production and business development team, gaining valuable insight into the complete process of creating, marketing and releasing an indie video game.
Internship tasks:
- Create social media content
- Analyze and report results
- Communicate with our players via forums and social media
- Help to promote our games internationally
- Help to implement Marketing plans
- Collaborate with the developers of our games
- Test new video games
