Job description
As an Officer Derivatives you will be responsible for the correct, complete and timely processing and administration of the trades. Trades vary from simple to more complex: non- Straight-through processing (STP) relating to Interest Rate & FX Derivatives products.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Process and settle trades from the Front Office systems for Interest Rate & FX derivatives;
- Enhancement and authorization of the trades and manual processing of more complex transactions;
- Research and resolve financial and positional breaks;
- Ensure all controls and procedures are adhered to.
Who are we looking for?You are:
- Pro active and motivated to work with a strong willingness to learn and develop yourself, both professionally and personally;
- Able to handle large quantities of information;
- Comfortable in a dynamic, sometimes hectic environment;
- Willing to work evening shifts (up to 20:00 o'clock) when required and occasionally on public holidays;
- Enjoying working in a team;
- Willing to follow additional courses focused on Financial Markets and Operations and contribute to the development of the department;
- Available to work 40 hours a week.
Personal Profile:
- Recent Bachelor's degree or currently undertaking a study at HBO level;
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch;
- Affinity with derivatives world or an interest in Financial Markets.
