OMA is a leading international partnership practicing contemporary architecture, urbanism, and cultural analysis. The counterpart to OMA’s architectural practice is AMO, a design and research studio. While OMA remains dedicated to the realization of buildings and masterplans, AMO operates in areas beyond the traditional boundaries of architecture, including  media, politics, sociology, sustainability,  technology, fashion, curating, publishing, and graphic design. To direct a range of projects throughout the world, OMA maintains offices in Rotterdam, New York, Beijing, and Hong Kong.

Within the HR team there is an opening for an HR internship. The student will assist four recruiters in the search and selection for all creative positions.  In this position you will be processing applications; pre-screening portfolios and answer questions from applicants. You will update the job section of the OMA website and schedule interviews and facilitate meeting rooms and/or audio material. You will attend interviews and actively assist and support the recruiters. You will be part of the HR team and will be supervised by the HR Manager. 

Working in one of world's leading creative companies, in an exciting and stimulating environment, the HR trainee will accumulate extensive knowledge of international recruitment and HR procedures. Trainees receive a monthly stipend. The internship is for a minimum period of 6 months and at least 4 days a week.

Functie-eisen

Further requirements:

- Currently a student at a university/ HBO i.e. HRM, Business studies, Cultural studies or other relevant study

- Skilled in MS Office and SharePoint

- Pro-active and self-disciplined

- Strong communication skills

- Fluent in English and Dutch

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and must feel confident in an international complex environment. Candidates work accurate and have a hands-on approach.
